Hmm.. I"ve never taken pills or anything for it.. but I use the Acne Free face clenisang kit. It really helps! They have a normal one and a one for severe acne. Clearasil is another really good product to use. Proactive is alright.. it didn"t work that much for me, but it does for some people.I"ve never tried this.. but I"ve heard good things about Skin ID!If you"re looking for somethng more natural.. I do something that sounds really weird.. but actually really helps!I warm up a tiny cup of tap water in the microwave and when it"s hot enough, I poor salt in the water and stir until it dissolves. Then I get Q-tips and dab the salt water onto my acne and let it sit for about 1 or 2 minutes. This dries the blemish out and makes it more vulnerable. Use a different Q-tip each time to avoid cross-contamination.Then, after that, I get honey (could be any type or brand) and I dab the honey onto my acne and let it sit for 3 minutes. This moiturizes the skin and also bring the blemish to a head. It also really reduces redness and size. It helps!!

I started the pill when I was 11yrs ago and had tried to come off a few times but gone back on within 3-4months because my skin would go crazy! Sept 2011 I decided to go off once and for all. The first few months were ok but my period started getting further and further apart and then stopped completely in April. I haven"t had a period since. At the same time that my period stopped my skin has become worse and worse! I now have acne over my face chest and back. I have tried many things over the past 12months herbal cleansing supplements, acupuncture, Chinese herbs, evening primrose oil, tried cutting out dairy from my diet. I feel I have spent a lot of time and money and nothing has helped. Is there anything else that you can suggest? I know that it will be the best thing being off the pill in the long run but right now I"m feeling very depressed and frustrated. 15a

I"m very inspired by your site and you amiazng skin progress! I immediately read your Roadmap to Clear Skin and there are so many important things that get so easily overlooked like the skin-emotions-connection. Still, I"m quite unsure about my diet: You write that acne patients should cut out gluten and I once did a blood test for gluten sensitivity and it was negative. I also don"t notice any difference when I cut out gluten for a week and then reintroduce them full force (with a yummy seitan dish). It seems therefore that I"m not gluten sensitive (?) should I still banish it from my diet?

Hi Beruse! Corn is okay it is a grain, not a vegetable like it"s uasluly portrayed so excess corn isn"t great and most corn these days is very heavily laden with pesticides and genetically modified. It"s also a common allergy. It"s fine to eat sometimes if you aren"t allergic it"s better than wheat! Also with calcium eat lots of leafy green vegetables! Vegetables have plenty of calcium and milk is simply a middle man for calcium cows don"t produce it, they get it from the plants they eat. And if you were drinking pasteurized milk, you probably weren"t absorbing a lot of it and maybe even leaching calcium from your body. How many days after stopping it did you get the toothache?

his arms keep growing when he hugs me I live in N Central Alberta and have been folowling WB for the last 4 months lost nearly 30 lbs. and am feeling really well but have had some issues with nighttime muscle cramps and some hair loss (FYI). ..just have no appetite, so I guess I am not paying good attention to my nutrition..not the best candidate for a TV show but I am still going and dealing with the few negative issues! Checking out what I need for better magnesium consumption through foods and something to help my hair not sure yet, maybe rosemary and mint.

A friend read an artclie in a woman"s magazine and told me about it. So I read it and it intrigued me. I am disabled due to osteoarthritis in both knees, stress induced asthma in addition to hypothyroidism and borderline diabetic. My friend started a week ago and has lost 3 pounds and I saw her yesterday and her belly isn"t as pronounced as it usually is. I started 2 days ago, after internet research and rereading the artclie several times. I awoke this morning realizing I actually slept the whole night and felt well-rested that hasn"t happened in a really long time. Another thing I noticed was that my pain due to plantar faciatis in my left foot was also totally gone. I could barely walk all week-end. The third thing I noticed was that I didn"t wake up hungry. I am always hungry. I can"t wait to see what else is going to happen to me. My friend and I ordered the book and I joined the pages on facebook and spark people. I am excited to be on this new journey!

u should not touch your face becsuae bacteria can get inside the pimple and infect it even more. wash your face everyday with a wet wash cloth and good face soap. If u like, on top of that, you can put antibacterial (such as neosporin) cream on your zits. Don"t pick at your zits either!
