that National is a good choice. Coming from soomene who has a Masters degree and 28 years of clinical and teaching experience, I would say is trustworthy. It does cost a lot, but you get your BSN in 22 months after your prereqs without waiting as long. National is accredited across the board. So you can transfer to a university and earn your masters if that is what you decide to do. As far as getting a job after graduation the economy is terrible for new grads right now because hospitals do not have extra funds to pay for their training. There are lots of nursing jobs available, but they want EXPERIENCED nurses. Hopefully, by the time you get done things will have changed a little bit and be better!Good Luck! And get top knotch grades. That"s what I plan on doing.

I have experience with oinnle classes. I love it. It"s convenient and relaxing. You don"t have to rush to get to class. My professors was absolutely wonderful. They answered all questions in a timely manner. If you are a shy person, this would be the ideal way to go, that way you don"t have to talk in front of people. You do have to post to discussion questions, meet your peers, and submit assignments as if you were in a school setting. I hope this helps, also, there are a lot of oinnle resources for your school. I attended the University of Phoenix and I had a lot of resources for my classes. There are the school"s library, resources for writing, mathematics and there is also a plagiarism checker on there. It was a great experience. I am getting ready to go back for my Bachelors.Once again,I hope this has helped you make a decision on whether to go a school setting or do oinnle classes!

SaraIt depends .on what your ceearr goals are long term. For specific positions in nursing a BSN is generally required such as in public health nursing, instructing (on the road to teaching) or research.Cyclicly, depending on the supply of RNs, institutions will sometimes adopt a BSN only stance for all of their nursing positions and will require their current RNs to get a BSN to stay employed and require new hires to have a BSN or pursuing it. This may be more the case in teaching institutions. The lion share of RN positions do not require a BSN so for most clinic, floor and geriatric positions so lack of a BSN shouldn"t be a hinderance is getting hired.Questions to ask yourself before paying for a BSN in time & money:What area of nursing do you want to establish your ceearr in? Ask nurses in those areas what the norm is among their peers. How long do you plan on being a nurse? Does the extra investment make sense in the long run. If you anticipate a short ceearr or switching to another ceearr in 5 to 7 years maybe it wouldn"t be a good investment. If you are unsure about most of the above details, which may be the case since you are just out of school, set the BSN questions aside and work on getting your first RN job.Hope that helps, good luckRochellePortland.
