An Indian court on Thursday convicted the founder of an outsourcing giant and nine others on charges of stealing millions of dollars in one of the largest frauds in the country's corporate history.

Benedict Wakulyamba, Tanga regional police commander, confirmed the attack of the leopard on the three villagers saying the animal disappeared after the night raid.

Twahibu Hassan, one of the victims, said the leopard found its way in Gole village on Friday at night and started attacking residents it came across.

The suspension of Alibaba Group's membership of one of the world's largest anti-counterfeiting groups could be a setback for the e-commerce giant as it tries to shake off its negative reputation, analysts said over the weekend.
