A spokesman at the museum said: "This rock-solid mass highlights some of the pressures modern life can impose on London's historical infrastructures. Issues like this are discussed and explored in the museum's City Now City Future season which deals with contemporary issues that cities around the world face."
Museum director Sharon Ament said: "The discovery of this fatberg highlights one of the many issues London has to deal with as it grows and evolves. Our year-long season, City Now City Future Herre Air Max 97 2017 Retro Sølv Danmark , explores what the future holds for people living in urban environments.
"It is important for the Museum of London to display genuine curiosities from past and present London. If we are able to acquire the fatberg for our collection I hope it would raise questions about how we live today and also inspire our visitors to consider solutions to the problems of growing metropolises."
The spokesman said the museum is hoping to confirm the acquisition very soon of what is one of the largest fatbergs ever discovered in Britain, and has opened a dialogue with Thames Water.
A team of eight operatives have already started to remove the fatberg using high-power water hoses to break up the mass. The pieces are being sucked up into tankers and taken to a recycling site in London.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. Treasury Department announced Thursday it has imposed sanctions on 11 entities and individuals for supporting Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) for cyber-attacks against the United States.
The sanctions targeted one entity engaging in supporting IRGC ballistic missile program Herre Air Max 97 2017 Retro Guld Danmark , two Ukraine-based entities supporting designated airlines, and two Iran-based networks responsible for cyber-enabled attacks against the U.S. financial system, said the Treasury in a statement.
"Treasury will continue to take strong actions to counter Iran's provocations, including support for the IRGC-Qods Force and terrorist extremists, the ongoing campaign of violence in Syria Air Max 97 Herre Danmark , and cyber-attacks meant to destabilize the U.S. financial system," said U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin in a statement.
Treasury's actions will freeze all the assets the designated entities and individuals may hold in the United States and generally prohibit U.S. individuals from doing business with them.

BEIJING, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- China's Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) will launch a yearly internal inspection Air Max 97 Dame Danmark , targeting the embezzlement of scientific research funds.
