ZURICH - Several people were killed in a shooting late on Saturday in a town in the Swiss canton of Aargau, local police said on Sunday.
Police in Aargau canton (state) said residents heard shots late Saturday night in the town of Wuerenlingen,a community of roughly 4,500 people north-west of Zurich. They alerted police, who found "several" dead people lying outside and in a house.
All those killed were adults and an investigation is under way Maglia Stefan de Vrij , police said Sunday. No further details were given and a police spokesman declined to say how many people had been killed.
Police said they planned to hold a news conference on Sunday afternoon.
